I actually agree with you about the alternative lifestyle phrase. it's not one I like/ use personally, and I hoped it would come across as tongue-and-cheek. the full line is "this 'alternative lifestyle' is love I will opt in for every time" ... so basically, if people are going to call it an alternative, I'm at least going to contend it's the one I prefer to "choose." thanks for the comment! ~m p.s. In one piece the phrase "alternate lifestyle" struck me.
